I bought a set of packing cubes for a recent trip. I thought they would be a nice-to-have, but they exceeded my expectations. Not only did they free up space, but they kept my bags organized, made things easy to find and less wrinkled, and kept dirty clothes away from clean clothes.
I owned the 20-inch suitcase and recently added the 24-inch, and this set comes with both. These are expandable and have spinner wheels and have been great for some heavy-duty travel. I love luggage as a graduation gift - either high school or college.
We recently took a trip to Spain and these adapters worked perfectly. We were able to plug multiple phones into one adapter since outlets are a bit more scarce in Europe. Our teen will take one on a school trip next summer.

What are Prime Big Deal Days?
Prime Day started a few years back as a way to celebrate Amazon’s anniversary. It’s just for Amazon Prime members and has grown to two days and a much bigger selection of discounted items. This Prime Day, Amazon is adding invite-only deals on some top brands and deals. You must request an invite to be considered for the deal. We’re interested to see what this looks like.
Prime Day typically offers deals on electronics, gifts, toys, beauty, viral products and much more. (Amazon products usually show up with deep discounts.)
Some deals last the entire event while other Lightning Deals are limited time offers. We’ll share Lightning Deals in our Facebook gift groups for tween and teen girls and tween and teen boys.
Prime Day deals are exclusively for Amazon Prime members. If you’ve been meaning to sign up, now’s a great time. Prime membership offers a 30-day trial and then is $14.99 a month or $139 a year.
The free 30-day trial is enough to let you take advantage of the sale and then decide whether or not to stick with the service. You aren’t charged if you cancel within 30 days.
I use my Prime membership primarily for the free two-day shipping, but our family also likes streaming movies and TV shows from Prime Video.
There is also a special Prime offer just for college students, and they are eligible for a 6-month free trial instead of the usual 30 days. It also makes students eligibility for a reduced price after the trial and special deals.
When do Prime Big Deal Days Officially Begin and End?
Prime Day 2024 begins at midnight Pacific time (3 a.m. EST) on July 16 and run until 11:59 PT (2:59 a.m. EST) on July 17.

How to Find the Best Deals on Prime Big Deal Days?
Prepare Ahead of Time
Consider who and what you’re buying for in advance. Ask yourself:
- Who do I need to buy for over the next 6 months?
- What school or college supplies do I need? (especially big-ticket items)
- What birthday and Christmas gifts do I already know I need to purchase?
- What household or family items (think small appliances or electronics) have I been considering if the price is right?
- What Amazon services (like
Audible audiobooks /podcasts or Amazon Music Unlimited) should I try while I can get an extended free trial?
Once you have this list, do a little homework. We considered a Ring doorbell for a long time before buying. It helped that we understood about different versions or wired vs non-wired. Then when we saw it for a good price, we knew it was a good price.
Now we want a new smart TV for the basement and I’m secretly pining after a Roomba. So my homework is to research what I really want and what’s a good price so I’ll know it when I see it.
